To apply for the Free Pass, you must have been unemployed for at least one month and have worked with a signed employment contract for at least six months.
The interested party must go to one of the CPTM or Metro stations with the following documents: ID, CPF, work card and letter of resignation.
Document analysis is carried out on-site, and if approved, the benefit is granted quickly.
With the Free Pass, users are entitled to free travel on the entire CPTM and Metro network for 90 days. This pass can be renewed if they remain unemployed during that period.

Intercity transportation is a requirement for users. In the case of EMTU, users cannot live or work without having been recently registered in the ABC Paulista region.
In the districts, you'll need to gather information from the website, as there's no access to accommodation in the municipality of Mauá, in the ABC region. This is especially true for those who live outside the Metropolitan Corridor.
